Mini Cooper Sportspack
First of all, let me just say that I've owned over 100 Minis over the years and this is hands down, without a doubt, the best one I've ever had. This is no ordinary Mini Cooper. This particular car was delivered new from John Cooper Garages as an 87hp Cooper S Touring model and subsequently upgraded by the previous owner (at John Cooper Garages) to the 90hp Cooper S-Works package. By comparison, the stock Mini Cooper S has 63hp from the factory. All receipts and most maintenance records from Cooper Garages are included along with tons of other records. The car was meticulously maintined and it shows! The color is a beautiful and very rare Almond Green and the supple leather seats have just enough hint of green hue to make it a great combination. I bought this beauty while on a trip to the UK and have used it several times I was there before eventually bringing it back to the US. This an absolutely excellent Mini and from my estimation, one of the best around. I had the opportunity to drive this around the UK on a few decent trips and it performed wonderfully. These Mpi model sportpacks drive fantastic compared to the older models and are an absolute joy to ride around in. With 90hp, its impossible to be disappointed in this Mini! The photos tell it all. You'll have to look long and hard and still probably never find another Classic Mini comparable to this.
This is a nearly perfect right-hand drive Almond Green Mini Cooper S Touring upgraded to S-Works equipped with:
~Excellent Almond Leather interior.
~Leather wrapped airbag steering wheel.
~Perfect 4-speed gearbox (recently serviced) and alloy shift knob.
~Factory Sportspack fender flares with factory 13 inch Sportpack Alloy wheels with good 175/50VR13 tires.
~Performance stainless exhaust system.
~Four grill mounted rally lamps.
~Rare Almond Green paint in excellent condition.
~Perfectly running 1997 model 90hp 1.3 liter Mpi fuel-injected engine with only 59,747 miles since new!!
~I have personally driven this car around the UK on my last few trips there and it's an excellent driver with absolutely no problems whatsoever. This car runs and drives perfect. With 90hp on tap, its more than you ever wanted in a Mini!
