This is a great low mileage, one owner truck that sat for too long when the owner got sick. Then his nephew loaded it with firewood and bounced it through the woods and the frame broke. It is possible that the frame can be repaired, but the family has decided to sell it instead. Theexterior sheetmetalisall in good shapewith the exception of the passenger's side rear cab corner, which I dented while loading the car off of a car trailer, and few minor dings and scratches from normal use. There are also several dings on the wheel wells inside the truck bed. The tailgate is straight and rust-free. The lights and everything work. The bed is in overal good condition, with no rust at all. That said, the body sags badly in the middle due to the frame issue, so the truck runs butCANNOT BE DRIVEN. The 4.3 liter, 6 cylinder motor only has the original 62,000 miles on it and runs amazingly well. It's oil was changed every 3000 miles since it was new. The transmission was perfect untill the frame collapsed. Now it doesn't engage properly because of the stress on the linkage and drive shaft. It is likely that it will still work fine if the frame is repaired, but I want to represent this as accurately as possible. The muffler has also parted so it's loud. I took a short video of the odometer and the motor running, so if you send me your email address, I can forward the video to you, or you can come and hear it in person. The interior is perfect. There are no tears or stains in the cloth seats, nor is there any sag from use. The owner was a non-smoker. The glass is all perfect, as well. The doors open a nd close perfectly, and ar not affected by the body sag. If someone were to part it out, there is a lot of valuable parts to be harvested. The brakes are very weak because the line was severed where the frame failed. The truck can be driven onto a trailer, but IS NOT ROADWORTHY. I will help load the vehicle, and could deliver it within a few hundred miles for a fee, but the buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements and costs.I am hoping to sell the truck as a whole, but if it doesn't sell, I will be willing to strip it down and sell it in pieces. The truck is located 90 miles North-west of NYC, but has never crossed the George Washington Bridge. It lived its life as a country vehicle. It was never in any accidents, and was never used for plowing. Knowing the owner as I did, it most likely never exceeded the speed limit. The pictures tell the story well, but please come see it in person if you can.
I added some pictures of the break in the frame. It appears to only be broken on the driver's side. Also, the tires are in nice shape, and the heavy duty battery looks like it was replaced recently. The charging system works perfectly, and the truck starts every time.
