This is a 1964 Rambler Classic 770 with an original 232 six cylinder and automatic transmission. I bought the car in 2004 with the intent to restore and am the third owner. Durring the time that I've owned the car I have made basic repairs(brakes, master cylinder exhaust ect.) I also had the motor completely rebuilt in 2005 installing a mild after market cam and over sized pistons along with a new crankshaft. The motor is all set up to run a four barrel and a header but is currently equiped with the stock one barrel and exhaust. I also installed two new old stock front fenders. Unfortunatley the car was hit by a young driver running a red light last year on the front passenger side causing more damage than I am willing to repair. The new old stock fender was bent along with the passenger side fire wall and upper and lower radiator brackets. Besides the damage created by the accident, the car has only a small amount of rust near the quarterpannels(a little larger than a quarter) and under the hood by the hood pins (both spots manageable). The rest of the car is solid and the interrior is in nice condition, only missing the padding on one arm rest, and the original driver seat and carpet. This car was extremely road worthy and still runs 100 percent with less than 20,000 on the motor, it starts right up and goes inand out of gearsmoothly. The car is restorable I just do not have the time or finances to deal with it or the car could be used for parts and a donormotor.

I have also been told at numerous AMC shows that there is a possibility of this car being only onr out of 13 ever made in 1964 with a factory 232 and is the only one I've ever seen, and when pulling the motor out before it was rebuilt, i noticed that the lats two numbers on the block were 13. Who Knows.
